NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS???…
Well it’s now been close to almost 6 months since I’ve done a news update on here. There really isn’t a whole lot of news. We’re still slowly working on new songs and hope to record sometime maybe by the end of the year. It’s looking like 2007 will most likely NOT see a new Ambergris release, but hopefully there will be something in early 2008. Everyday life sometimes tends to get in the way of these sorts of things and that’s what we’re running into right now. Sit tight – when the new disc does come out it will be better than anything we’ve done to this point.
In show news, we did a bunch of shows in the past few months, including a benefit show for the NYC Firefighters who helped out with the World Trade Center on 9/11. Right now we have a show this coming weekend in Kingston at Backstage Enterprises, and a tentative one lined up in Reading PA on Friday July 27. More news about this one as I get it. We probably won’t be doing a whole lot more than that until the end of August as everyone is on vacation and other assorted summertime shit. But that’s ok because it gives us time to finish writing new material for the next disc. Keep an eye out for new t-shirts, stickers, buttons, etc. this fall and winter too – I think it’s about time we send some of the old merch and what not to the proverbial landfill and come up with some new designs and shit.
